The Admin Password is set to secure your webAdmin. This will change the password for the user admin in the .htpasswd-file that is located in the Webadmin-directory. Your Webserver might not support .htaccess passwords. In this case, check out how you can secure files and folders on your webserver.

After setting the Admin Password you will be required to authenticate yourself in order to access further functions in the Webadmin. The username will be admin and the password will be the password chosen to protect your Webadmin.
