User Defaults [ Help Index ]

The User Defaults is used to specify the default settings a new user will have when the account is first created. Changes here will not affect existing users.

Set User Quota to set the default mailbox size new users receive. Default setting is 10240kb (10 megabytes).

Set the default Font Style for @Mail. Default is 'Verdana'.

Set the default sorting mode using Sort E-mail By. Default is 'Received'.

Set wheather or not to Leaves Messages On Server. Default is 'yes'

Set the Service Language for new users. Default is 'English'.

Set the default Number of Messages to display per page. Default is '25'.

Set the default Time Zone. Default is 'GMT (Greenwich Mean)

Set wether or not to display brief Message Popups when users hold their mouse over an email message. Default is 'yes'.

Set Auto Delete Trash to set a default for this value for new users. Default is 'no'

Set Delete Trash on Logout to set a default for this value for new users. Default is 'no'

Set Default Editor for new users to use. Default is 'HTML'.

Set Default Date Format to suit your users standard.

Set Default time Format to suit your users standard.

The Login Type which new users use. Default is 'Blue Pane'.

Enter the Default Colors and Top Bar Image for new @Mail Users. Defaults can be restored by clicking the Restore Button.

The Defaults for Default Colors and Top Bar Image are also the 'blue' color scheme in the @Mail settings for users. To add your own color schemes for the user settings edit the file /your/atmail/root/javascript/schemes.js. Read the comments available at the top of this file on how to use it.
